JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 13-02-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "(i) For quashing the order contained in memo no.3553 dated 02.03.2022 passed by Respondent Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna communicated to the petitioner vide letter contained in memo no. 3820 dated 08.03.2022 whereby and whereunder the petitioner has been awarded punishment of compulsory retirement and no payment shall be made during the suspension period and the period of suspension may be treated as half leave period.

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the order dated 02.03.2022, passed by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna by filing appropriate appeal. Liberty so sought is granted.

It is needless to state that in case appropriate appeal is filed within a period of three weeks from today, the same shall be heard on merits by the appellate authority and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed thereon, within a period of six weeks thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
