JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 15-02-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Sahar P.S. Case No.117 of 2017 registered under Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Be that as it may, regard being had to the allegation that the petitioner being the Chairman of Vayapar Mandal misappropriated 1514.10 quintals custom milled rice amounting to rupees 33,55,877/-, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.

In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1219 of 2018 (3) dt.15-02-2018 2/2 shall be considered on its own merits without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
