JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 01-04-2015 There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Learned counsel for the State is present. This is third consecutive occasion when there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. It appears that the petitioners have lost interest in the lis as the matter relates to re-fixing the seniority of these petitioners in the rank of Inspector of Police with effect from 03.11.1982. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the Respondents-State of Bihar stating in paragraph No. 5 that the seniority of these petitioners in the rank of Inspector of Police has been fixed with effect from 03.11.1982 vide an order issued on 13.10.1999. It seems that because of the developments during the pendency of the writ application, the petitioners have no more interest in pursuing this writ application.

This application is, thus, dismissed.
