In the present case, the petitioner has claimed the reliefs mentioned in paragraph-1 of this writ application is as follows: (i) A writ in the nature of Mandamus may be issued commanding the Respondents (State) to complete the nominations on the Board of Director of the Samastipur District Central Co-operative Bank Ltd. to constitute the Board of Directors elected on 23.10.1994 in terms of Rule 22(2) of the Bihar Co-

(ii) An appropriate writ may be issued directing the Respondents to allow the Board of Directors elected on 23.10.1994 to continue to hold its office till the tenure of the Board expires according to Section 14(9) of the Act.

(iii) A further direction may be issued directing the Respondents to stop forthwith from proceeding ahead from any further proceeding for finalizing the election to the Office of Board of Directors of the Bank.

(iv) Any other appropriate writ or orders or orders or direction or directions may be issued which is/are deemed necessary in the facts and circumstances of the case.

.The matter is of 1994 and relates to the election, having tenure of three years, fresh elections more than once must have been held during the pendency of this petition. In such view of the matter, this writ application is rendered infructuous and as such is dismissed. (Shivaji Pandey, J) Mahesh/- U
