The petitioner, who is a Block Teacher, seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Muffasil P. S. Case No. 34 of 2020, dated 01.02.2020,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36419 of 2020(4) dt.25-05-2021 2/3 instituted for the offences under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation against the petitioner is of having tampered with the result of BETET for obtaining appointment as a Niyojit Teacher under the Backward Class Female Category.
The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the accusation is absolutely misconceived. The petitioner has requisite qualification for being appointed as Block Teacher and the anomaly found in the result is only because of the wrong entry which could be verified from the examination taking body and from the other sources. The prosecution of the petitioner in this case is only because of the mismatch between the roll number and the serial number of the mark-sheet. The petitioner was granted provisional anticipatory bail vide order dated 19.02.2021. Considering the circumstances of the case, the provisional bail granted to the petitioner is, hereby,
