JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 11-04-2018 Heard Sri Binod Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor. The petitioner, husband of the deceased, has approached this Court for grant of bail in the event of his arrest or surrender in connection with Khagaria ( Chitragupta Nagar) P.S. Case No. 492 of 2017 registered for the offence under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. Fact remains that death of wife of petitioner has occurred within seven years from the date of marriage . It is also evident that before death demand of dowry was also made and death occurred due to burn injury.

Accordingly, there is no reason to entertain the prayer for extending the privilege of anticipatory bail. The petition stands dismissed.
