The present petition has been filed for quashing the order of cognizance, qua the petitioners, dated 25.11.2014, passed by the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Purnia in Complaint case no. 1173 of 2013, by which cognizance has been taken against the petitioners under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present petition, however seeks to raise the issues raised in the present petition, before the learned Trial Court at an appropriate stage. Liberty so sought, is granted.
