The petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

From the F.I.R., it transpires that 34.500 litres of Nepali liquor were recovered from the house of the petitioner no. 1, 37.515 litres of illicit liquor were recovered from the house of the petitioner no. 2 and 30 litres of illicit liquor were recovered from the house of the petitioner no. 3. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they are innocent, bears no criminal antecedent and has been

In the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge Excise, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Chhauradano P.S. Case No. 78 of 2019.
