The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 307, 379 & other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against this petitioner is that he assaulted the informant with Farsa causing injury on her head. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that both parties are agnates. Due to land dispute between the parties, a scuffle took place, in which, both sides sustained injury. The case and counter case. The injury sustained by the informant is simple in nature.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the backdrop of the occurrence and

No.29668 of 2022(3) dt.20-10-2022 2/2 nature of injury, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, let the above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Darbhanga in connection with Hayaghat P.S. Case No. 40 of 2021, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
