JUSTICE SUNIL KUMAR PANWAR ORAL ORDER 22-10-2021 The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 02.05.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 24092 of 2018 for extending the period of surrender.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner could not surrender on time because he was outside State for treatment of his mother who was suffering from cancer and ultimately she succumbed.

On the grounds mentioned in the modification application, the period of surrender is extended further

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48043 of 2021(2) dt.22-10-2021 2/2 for a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of the copy of this order. The order dated 02.05.2018 stands modified to the extent indicated above.

Accordingly the modification application is allowed.
