2. The present petition has been preferred for the grant of following relief(s):

"(i) for an order and direction to the Respondents herein to pay the compensation of at least a sum of Rupees Twenty Lakhs to the petitioner, taking into consideration the losses suffered by the petitioner.

(ii) for an order and direction to the Respondents herein to include the name of the petitioner in the Disability list and issue her a disability certificate.

Patna High Court CWJC No.18448 of 2016(7) dt.11-12-2025 2/3 (iii) for an order or direction to the Respondents to develop a comprehensive rehabilitation scheme for acid attack survivors for housing, education, and employment.

(iv) for any other order or direction that this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and appropriate under the circumstances of the instant case and in the interest of justice."

Mr. Sunil Kumar Mandal, learned State counsel has taken this Court to paragraph no.8 of the counter affidavit filed by the District Magistrate, Siwan to submit that Rs. 3 Lakhs was extended to the petitioner under Bihar Victim Compensation Scheme, 2014 relating to Siwan Muffasil P.S. Case No. 109 of 1996 (Trial No. 06 of 2000)

A rejoinder has been filed by the victim petitioner according to which, the State Government has notified the scheme vide no. 2437 dated 25.04.2018 to provide social security to the victim of acid attack as also poor people, disabled, widow and those were suffering from the AIDS and her case would have also been considered under the said scheme.

5. With the consent of the parties, the Court observes that the victim lady can approach the Principal Secretary,

6. If such petition is preferred alongwith all the supporting documents, it will be taken to its logical conclusion at an earliest.
