2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Raghopur P.S. Case No. 14 of 2022 for the offence under section 379 of the I.P.C. lodged on 10.01.2022 by the informant, Sharwan Kumar
3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that he had gone to market for purchasing vegetables and parked his motorcycle when it was taken away. This led to the FIR.
4. Subsequently, one Neeraj Kumar was arrested who gave the name of accused persons and in this way, the petitioner got implicated in the case.
5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has criminal antecedents which led the Police to implicate him, he has no role to play in the matter and Pappu Choudhary has
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30820 of 2025(2) dt.19-05-2025 2/2 been granted bail in Cr. Misc. No. 32501 of 2024.
6. Learned APP on the other hand opposes the prayer submitting that the matter is of the year 2022, his name came up, delayed in coming to the Sessions Court where it got rejected on 22.02.2024 and one year three months later, the present petition and he has criminal antecedents also.
7. Considering the submissions of the parties as also that the petitioner has criminal antecedent, certainly, he has delayed coming to the Court despite his rejection of anticipatory bail on 22.02.2024, in that background, no relief can be extended to him.
