2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 520 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 191(2), 190, 126, 115(2), 109, 74, 303(2), 352 and 351(2) of the BNS, 2023.

3. As per the prosecution case, some dispute arose between the parties regarding drainage of the water. It is further alleged that the petitioner along with other co-accused persons have assaulted the informant, her husband and others due to which they got injured.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent. The specific allegation against the petitioner is that he has assaulted the informant, namely, Rup Shila Devi. Anil Kumar, who is the husband of the informant, has sustained grievous injury and the allegation of assaulting him is against co-accused Chandan Kumar and Kundan Kumar. So the case of the petitioner does not stand on similar footing as the case against co-accused Chandan Kumar and Kundan Kumar.

5. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the informant and learned APP for the State have opposed the prayer for bail.

6. The specific allegation of assaulting Anil Kumar who suffered grievous injury, is against the co-accused persons and not against this petitioner.

7. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate-1st Class, Patna in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 520 of 2024,
