2. The petitioner has filed the instant writ application for the following relief(s):
"I. For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus, commanding and directing
Patna High Court CWJC No.16699 of 2012(4) dt.15-09-2025 2/2 the respondent authorities to pay the arrears of salary from September, 2008 till the date of his retirement i.e. on 31.07.2012 to the petitioner with statutory as well as penal interest.
II. For issuance of any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions for which the writ petitioner shall be found entitled under the facts and circumstances of the case."
3. No one appeared on behalf of the petitioner on 25.8.2025 when the Court was pleased to record the following order:
"No one appears on behalf of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the respondent-State is present.
2. This is an old mater of the year 2012 and still the petitioner is not showing interest in appearing and pressing the writ application.
3. One last indulgence is being granted to the petitioner, failing which on the next date, the Court may consider dismissing the writ application on merits.
4. Put up this case on 15.09.2025."
