The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 302 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is stated to have given a blow with an iron rod on the head of the son of the informant leading to his death.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case due to political reasons. The actual occurrence is not the same as alleged in the F.I.R. The petitioner is in custody since 20.3.2020 and no witness has been examined on behalf of the prosecution. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

No.40270 of 2021(3) dt.18-02-2022 2/2 Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegation against the petitioner of having struck the son of the informant on the head with an iron rod leading to his death and the said allegation being confirmed from the post-mortem report, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.
