Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Karakat P.S. Case No.3 of 2020, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147/148/149/341/323/504/307 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. The petitioner allegedly caused fire-arm injury at the buttock of the informant. The doctor has found simple fire-arm injury which is evident from the impugned order. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the nature of act alleged against the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40898 of 2021(2) dt.13-12-2021 2/2 petitioner, in my view, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail. Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail is refused. However, in the event of surrender of the petitioner within two weeks, the prayer for regular bail shall be considered without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
