The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Bihta P.S. Case No. 275 of 2020, dated 17.04.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 324, 504, 354, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30328 of 2020(2) dt.18-12-2020 2/3 It has been alleged in the F.I.R. that one Bittu Kumar tried to outrage the modesty of the mother of the informant. When the informant reached the place of the occurrence on the alarm call by his mother, the petitioners along with others are said to have fired.
Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the accusation against them is absolutely false. The petitioners are not alleged to have made any attempt at outraging the modesty of the mother of the informant. In fact, a dispute has arisen because of wrist watch in which the parties fought among themselves. It has further been submitted that in order to teach everybody a lesson, this kind of a case has been lodged by the informant. The petitioners are persons of clean antecedents. Regard being had to the facts afore-stated, the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of eight weeks, are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount
