JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 21-02-2023 It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that an application vide no. 9-27/2016 dated 08.02.2016 under section 13 of the arms act, 1959, is pending in the office of Respondent no. 2, District Magistrate cum licensing authority, Arms, Patna for grant of license for the last three years. It is submitted that a petition vide dairy no. 9-27/2016 dated 08.02.2016 under section 13 of Arms Act 1959 was filed by the petitioner for grant of license but till date the same has not been disposed of.

Without going into the merit of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 2 to

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.790 of 2019(3) dt.21-02-2023 2/2 decide and dispose of the application filed by the petitioner by a reasoned and speaking order within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
