This application is for modification of order dated 12.06.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 16981/2020 whereby the petitioner was allowed anticipatory bail and vide order dated 01.02.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 8324/2021 (modification) whereby and whereunder the order passed in Cr. Misc. No.16981/2020 was modified up to the extent of payment of Rs.8,000/- P.M. Cares Fund, in connection with Barh P.S. Case No.307/2019 (Special Case No.6052/2019). However, the petitioner could not furnish bail bond within time. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45546 of 2021(2) dt.18-08-2021 2/2 22.02.2021 the petitioner has filed bail bond which is mentioned in para 5 of the bail application before the Excise Court in terms of the order passed by this Court but the then Excise Court refused to accept the bail bond because the payment was made in P.M. Cares Fund through PAYTM.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, as the said amount has already been deposited in the P.M. Cares Fund through PAYTM, the court below is directed to accept the bail bond of the petitioner within four weeks. Accordingly, the application stands allowed.
