Petitioner seeks bail in Sonbarsa P.S. Case No.83 of 2020 registered under Sections 25(1-B)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

The informant (police officer) alleged that after having received secret inputs he along with other police officials apprehended the petitioner while the petitioner was roaming near Brahm Sthan and on search, one loaded country made pistol was recovered from the petitioner.

It is submitted that the petitioner is in jail since 19.04.2020. The petitioner has already remained in jail for more than nine months for recovery of one loaded country made pistol and he has got no criminal antecedent.

No.31063 of 2020(2) dt.25-01-2021 2/2 Taking into consideration the facts that the petitioner has remained in jail for more than nine months for recovery of one loaded country made pistol and he has got no criminal antecedent, the petitioner named above is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Sitamarhi in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No.83 of 2020.
