The petitioner whose services as Woman Supervisor in the Department of Welfare, Government of Bihar was terminated vide memo No. 944 dated 22.07.2020 (Annexure-9 to the writ petition) and had preferred an appeal being Appeal No. 56 of 2020 dated 23.08.2020 before the Appellate Authority namely, the Divisional Commissioner, Patna Division, Patna against the termination order issued, has preferred the instant writ petition challenging the order of

Patna High Court CWJC No.8448 of 2023(4) dt.08-02-2024 2/2 termination of the petitioner from the services as mentioned herein above.

4. In the counter affidavit filed by the State it has been stated that the appeal preferred by the petitioner before the appellate authority is still pending.

In view of the above fact situation that the appeal preferred by the petitioner before the Appellate Authority namely, the Divisional Commissioner, Patna Division, Patna is still pending, this writ petition, with the consent of the learned counsel appearing for the parties, is disposed of with a direction to the Divisional Commissioner, Patna Division, Patna which is stated to be the Appellate Authority to dispose of the appeal bearing Appeal No. 56 of 2020 dated 23.08.2020 filed by the petitioner against the termination of services of the petitioner as Woman Supervisor, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
