After some argument, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks to file a detail representation before the Director General of Police, Bihar for considering his case, in the light of final ratio laid down by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in the case of Vijay Kumar Singh V. The State of Bihar & Ors (CWJC No.4633 of 2016) and the finding has been upheld by the Division Bench, vide order dated 29.01.2023 passed in LPA No.833 of 2014 (The State of Bihar & Ors. Vs. Manoj Madhup & Anr.).

Considering the aforesaid statements made on behalf of the petitioner, the petitioner may file a detail representation before the Director General of Police, Bihar for considering his case on merit and examine as to whether the reliefs as sought for in the present writ petition can be granted to the petitioner, when another similarly situated police personnel one Vijay Kumar Singh has been granted such benefit.

4. It is made clear that such decision has to be taken within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

5. With the above observation/direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
