The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8, 20(b)(ii) and 25 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act. Allegedly, it is a case of recovery of illicit ganja weighing about two K.G. from inside of the house of the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner has clean antecedent.

Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail and submitted that two K.G. ganja was recovered from the house of the petitioner as per seizure

After considering the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
