====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 13-11-2019 The only grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is with regard to non- payment of the interest on the GPF amount.

The learned counsel for the respondent company has submitted that the interest on the GPF amount has already been paid vide cheque no. 469621 dated 20.06.2017, amounting to a sum of Rs. 12,998/-.

Patna High Court CWJC No.2200 of 2017(4) dt.13-11-2019 2/2 The learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a reply affidavit wherein it has been stated that the aforesaid amount has not been credited in the account of the petitioner. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the G.M., North Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd. to conduct an enquiry as to whether the aforesaid cheque dated 20.06.2017 has or has not been credited in the account of the petitioner and in case it is found that the same has not been credited in the account of the petitioner, he shall ensure that the said amount of Rs. 12,998/- is credited in the account of the petitioner within a period of two weeks from today.

It is needless to state that in case it is found that the aforesaid amount has already been credited in the account of the petitioner, the G.M., as aforesaid, shall intimate the petitioner by a reasoned order annexing the proof of the same within a period of four weeks from today.

The writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
