Let the defect(s) be removed within two weeks of the complete start of the physical Court in normal course. Petitioner, who is in custody since 04.11.2020, seeks regular bail in connection with S.T. Case No. 132 of 2021 arising out of Sadar P.S. Case No. 399 of 2020 registered for offences punishable under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the petitioner who is the husband of the deceased is of harassing the victim. Petitioner along with other family members has strangulated the victim due to which she died. The doctor has opined that the cause of death is due to asphyxia as a result of fracture of cervical bones

Considering the serious nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. However, the learned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously, well within a period of nine months.

If no substantial progress takes place in trial, the petitioner, if so advised, may renew his prayer for bail after the aforesaid period.
