2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

"for issuance of appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions to pay the compensation amount to the petitioner for the land belonging to them which has been acquired for the purpose of the construction of an embankment and road over it. It is further prayed that any further construction of the Road on embankment be ordered to be stayed till the entire payment of compensation

4/4 is made to the petitioners at the current rate and under current provision of the law."

3. An un-rebutted counter-affidavit has come on behalf of the State-respondent, according to which, most of the land owner who submitted their documents have taken their compensation and there is nothing on record, so far as petitioner is concerned.

4. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners submit that with appropriate documents, they shall be approaching the respondents.

5. This Court does not want to make any comment in the matter as the acquisition took place in the year 1978, the copy of the counter-affidavit was served upon the petitioners in the year 2018 and there is no rebuttal.

6. Granting liberty to agitate the matter if they have valid documents relating to the land in question, the writ petition stands disposed of.
