The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) and 21(b) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. The present bail application has been filed in terms of the liberty granted to the petitioner by order dated 13.04.2022 in Cr. Misc. No. 66568 of 2021 to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that charges against the petitioner have been framed on 06.05.2022. Since the charges against the petitioner have been framed, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31092 of 2022(2) dt.22-06-2022 2/2 on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Muzaffarpur Town P.S. Case No. 576 of 2021, subject to the condition that one of the bailors of the petitioner shall be his wife and further if the learned court below comes to a conclusion that the petitioner after his release is trying to delay the trial in any manner then in that event the learned court below shall forthwith cancel the bail bond of the petitioner by recording reasons.
