JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 01-05-2019 The writ petitions have been filed for directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners for granting same treatment as has been granted to the Panchayat Shiksha Mitra.

The learned counsel for the respondent State referring to the counter affidavit filed in the second case, submits that in paragraph no. 10, it has been stated that notwithstanding the voluntary scheme of Lok Shikshak Kendra and the involvement of Lok Shikshak as volunteer, the Government has taken decision to give weightage to Lok Shikshak in the matter of selection as Panchayat Teacher/Prakhand Teacher and the minimum eligibility for appointment as Teacher has been

5/5 prescribed as trained and T.E.T. pass.

In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the learned counsel for the State, the learned counsel for the petitioners no longer seeks to press the present writ petitions in view of the said assurance given by the State Government. Hence, the writ petitions stand disposed off as not pressed.
