Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned SC-25.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant contempt application has been filed for initiating contempt proceeding against the contemnors/opposite parties for willfully and deliberately disobeying and violating the order

Patna High Court MJC No.1609 of 2025(5) dt.10-10-2025 2/2 dated 18-11-2024 in CWJC No. 10309 of 2022.

The learned SC-25, at this stage, submits that the order dated 18-11-2024 in CWJC No. 10309 of 2022 has been complied with and the petitioner has been paid compensation of an amount of Rs. 20 lakh for his land which was used for construction of road.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no doubt an amount of Rs. 20 lakh has been received by the petitioner in lieu of compensation but then the same has been received under protest as the same was based on findings of a six-member committee report dated 21-2-2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, after making his submission, seeks permission to withdraw the contempt application with liberty to assail the findings of the six-member committee dated 21-2-2025.

Permission is accorded.

Accordingly, the contempt application is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
