The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

It is a case of recovery of about 13.830 liters of illicit liquor from the Bathan of the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that petitioner has not been apprehended at the spot. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40430 of 2021(2) dt.23-03-2022 2/2 From perusal of the seizure list, it appears that the aforesaid liquor was recovered from the Bathan of the petitioner, as such, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
