Petitioner seeks bail in Buxar (T) P.S. Case No.281 of 2019 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged that 182 bottles of foreign liquor each of 180 Ml have been recovered from the Tempo kept in a bag and beneath the seat of the driver. The petitioner was also sitting in the Tempo.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was going on Tempo as passenger and he has no concern with the aforesaid liquor.

Petitioner is in custody since 29.03.2019 having clean antecedents.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge II cum Special Judge, Excise, Buxar, in connection with Buxar (T) P.S.
