JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 01-08-2023 The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition is to direct the District Magistrate, Patna, to dispose off the pending application filed by the petitioner for grant of arms license in the year, 2016.

The learned counsel for the respondent-State has submitted that in case the aforesaid application of the petitioner for grant of arms license has actually been filed and is still pending, the same would definitely be disposed off in a fixed time frame.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to dispose off the present writ

Patna High Court CWJC No.8677 of 2022(2) dt.01-08-2023 2/2 petition with a direction to the District Magistrate, Patna to dispose off the aforesaid application of the petitioner filed for grant of arms license, in case the same has actually been filed and is still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
