1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) To issue an appropriate order/s, direction/s including writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to make the payment of the monetary benefit under Assured Carrier Progression Scheme as well as modified Assured Carrier Progression Scheme (hereinafter referred to as A.C.P./M.A.C.P. in short) after completion of 12/24, 10/20/30 years of service of petitioner whatever may be. (ii) To direct the respondents to make the payment of statutory and penal interest of the above mentioned dues whichever is applicable

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Banka for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate petition is filed, by the petitioner, before the District Magistrate, Banka, within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, thereon, within a period of eight weeks, thereafter.
