JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 12-12-2024 Though the present writ petition has been filed for setting aside the order dated 24.8.2016, passed in Arms Case No. 10 of 2016, by the District Magistrate, Darbhanga, however, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the aforesaid order dated 24.8.2016, by filing appropriate appeal under Section 18 of the Arms Act, 1959. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case, appropriate appeal is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the appellate authority shall consider the same on merits, without being impeded by the issue of limitation.
