C.W.J.C. No.6678 of 2016 and C.W.J.C. No.19821 of 2015 were initiated suo motu on the basis of news item published in the daily newspaper Dainik Jagran, Hindi Dainik, Patna dated 5th April, 2016 and 6th April, 2016 and the Sunday Times, Patna dated 20th December, 2015 respectively. C.W.J.C. no.12069 of 2015 was directed to be listed along with these cases.

The issues pertain to setting up of infrastructure, including human resources in the Indira Gandhi Institute of Cardiology.

With the passage of time, we find, the present petitions have outlived their purpose as respondents have taken action in redressing the grievance pointed out in the news

Patna High Court CWJC No.6678 of 2016(18) dt.17-02-2020 3/3 items.

As such, we close the present proceedings clarifying that it shall be open for any public spirited person to approach the authorities pointing out non-functioning of any machinery in Indira Gandhi Institute of Cardiology.

The petitions stand disposed of with the liberty aforesaid.
