The petitioner has approached this Court for quashing the FIR bearing Industrial Area P.S. Case No. 96 of 2020 registered for the offences under Section 30(a), 36 and 41(i) of Bihar Prohibition Excise Act, 2018.

The name of the petitioner has come up during investigation of the case and the investigation is still pending. The FIR cannot be quashed on the prayer of an accused persons whose name has come up investigation. Accordingly, this application is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to take all legal steps after charge-sheet is submitted against him.
