====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 29-09-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner apprehends arrest in registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

In view of the statement of the victim recorded under section 164 Cr. P. C. to the effect that this petitioner demanded Rs. 5 lacs and promised to wed the victim and later denied for marriage and abused and assaulted her and her parents, his prayer for bail is refused with direction to surrender and seek regular bail which would be considered and disposed of on its own merit without prejudice.
