2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 25 (1-A), 25(1-AA), 25 (1-b), 26(i)(ii) and 35 of the Arms Act, registered in connection with Kharagpur P.S.Case No. 07 of 2024.

3. As per prosecution case, the petitioner was involved in manufacturing and selling of illegal weapons to the smugglers.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the name of the petitioner has figured in the confessional statement of co-accused Md. Jahid. Nothing was recovered from his possession, nor was he arrested at the spot.

5. On the other hand, Mr. Shailendra Kumar, the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33129 of 2025(4) dt.03-12-2025 2/2 learned APP for the State, has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

6. The petitioner has two criminal antecedents. He does not deserve the privilege of anticipatory bail, which is hereby rejected.
