The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kochadhaman P.S. Case No. 39 of 2021 registered for the offences under Sections 313, 341, 323, 376, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 4/6 of the POCSO Act, 2012. Petitioner is an accused of committing rape with a minor girl. The allegation has been supported by the victim in her statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Learned counsel for the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer of the petitioner.

Considering the above facts, I am not inclined to grant

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40831 of 2021(2) dt.18-05-2022 2/2 anticipatory bail to the petitioner. This application for anticipatory bail is dismissed.
