In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Ahiyapur P.S. Case No.981 of 2015 (Sessions Trial No.582 of 2016) registered for the offence under Sections 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3/ 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

This Court had called for the status report regarding stage of trial. In pursuance of the same, 9th Additional District and Sessions Judge, Muzaffarpur, sent a letter dated 27.11.2020, from where it appears that the case is at argument stage.

In such view of the matter, this Court is not

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30707 of 2020(3) dt.21-12-2020 2/2 inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. However, the Court below is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within three months from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order subject to co-operation extended by the petitioner.
