JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 09-08-2019 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in terms of the order dated 18.02.2019, the petitioner was required to pay a sum of Rs.2 lakhs to the informant within six weeks from the date of the order. However, due to financial constraints, the money could not be arranged. It is submitted that now the arrangement has been made and the petitioner will pay the said amount to the informant within two weeks. A prayer has thus been made to allow the petitioner to make payment within two weeks and accordingly the period fixed in the order dated 18.02.2019 giving six weeks time to the petitioner to surrender be extended by another four weeks.

In the given facts and circumstances of the case, let the six weeks time fixed in the order dated 18.02.2019 to pay

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28732 of 2019(2) dt.09-08-2019 2/2 Rs. 2 lakhs to the informant and then to surrender before the court below within the said period of six weeks is hereby extended to the extent that now the petitioner shall pay the said amount of Rs.2 lakhs within two weeks from today and in case of his arrest/surrender within four weeks from today he will be enlarged on bail in terms of the order dated 18.02.2019 passed in Cr.Misc.No.8246 of 2019. Rest of the order shall remain intact.

No further application for modification or extension of time shall be entertained.

Let a copy of this order be communicated to the court below through FAX subject to the deposit of cost by the petitioner.
