2. The present writ petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

(i) A Mandamus Commanding the respondents for payment of compensation for the lands of the Petitioner Situate in Village-Sarabeh Khata No. 890, Plot No.

2729 and 2734 which was acquired for the purpose of Kothiya Laghu Canal A. R. No. 3 in the District of Madhubani.

(ii) Any other relief or reliefs for which petitioner may be found entitled to in the facts and circumstances of the present case may be granted to him.

3. It has been informed by learned counsel for the

Patna High Court CWJC No.6167 of 2015(2) dt.07-07-2025 2/2 petitioner that the sole petitioner has died, as such, he submits that the heirs be granted liberty to approach the Patna High Court afresh, if he/she/they so want.

4. In view of the aforesaid development, granting liberty to the heirs of sole petitioner, Indra Deo Thakur who is no more, the writ petition is disposed of.
