Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(A) and 41 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
Recovery of liquor is alleged from a Scorpio and the house of the co-accused. Since the petitioner and others were there they were suspected to be involved in the business of liquor. Petitioner has got one identical criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 18.07.2020. Investigation of the case is already complete. There is no material to substantiate that the petitioner is going to tamper with the evidence.

No.29580 of 2020(2) dt.23-11-2020 2/2 Considering the entire facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Special Case No.4460 of 2020 arising out of Naubatpur Police Station Case No.368 of 2020 with following conditions:
(a) Both the bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below.
(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
