Petitioners have filed the present writ application for a direction to the respondents to initiate process of regular appointment.

Learned counsel for the respondents with reference to paragraphs 11 and 12 of the counter affidavit submits that

Patna High Court CWJC No.9150 of 2019(2) dt.18-12-2019 2/2 process has already been initiated and as such, the present application has lost its utility.

Paragraphs 11 and 12 of the counter affidavit reads as under:

"11. That with regard to the averments made in para no.17 to 20 of the writ petition, it is submitted that answering department has already initiated process for regular appointment on the post of Group-D.

12. That in view of above mentioned submission and from the pleadings made in the petition under reply it manifests that the grievance of the petitioners stand redressed as process for regular appointment on the post of Group-D has already been initiated and is under process. Therefore, the instant writ petition has become infructuous."

Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to take the selection process to its logical end at the earliest, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order (Anil Kumar Upadhyay, J) Ravi/- U
