JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 18-07-2018 Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Chowk P.S.Case No. 149 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Allegation against the petitioner is of committing cruelty to his wife.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that allegations are general and moreover informant is getting maintenance of Rs.15,000/- per month which has been deducted from the salary of the petitioner.

Heard learned APP and learned counsel for the informant. They have opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26023 of 2015 (9) dt.18-07-2018 2/2 the petitioner.

Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, as stated above, let the petitioner, named above, in the event of his arrest or surrender, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna City, in connection with Chowk P.S.Case No. 149 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. and further condition is that one of the bailors shall be a local person having sufficient immoveable properties within the jurisdiction of court concerned.
