JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date : 15-05-2018 The sole appellant Md. Ansar @ Munna has filed this appeal challenging his conviction ordered by the learned Sessions Judge, Darbhanga in Sessions Trial No.24 of 1992 convicting him to undergo life imprisonment and various other sentences for offences under Sections 376, 302 and 201 of I.P.C. The report was called for and, we are informed today by the learned Counsel for the State that the sole appellant Md. Ansar @ Munna has expired and is no more alive. Communication received from the office of Sr. Superintendent of Police, Darbhanga along with the report of the S.H.O. and the certificates of the Gram Panchayat have been produced which go to show that the appellant has died more than one and a half years ago.
