JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 27-07-2018 Present writ application has been filed in the year 2015 for commanding the respondent authorities to protect life and liberty of the granddaughter of the petitioner, it is alleged that the respondent nos. 9 to 13 has posed threat to the life and liberty of the granddaughter of the petitioner and she has been illegally kept in confinement and further for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the concerned respondents to act in accordance with law and to take action in the matter of the First Information Report bearing Kartahan Police Station Case No. 42 of 2015 dated 19.07.2015.
Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.1299 of 2015(3) dt.27-07-2018 2/2 This Court has published notice in the daily cause list requesting the learned counsel for the petitioner and the State to come prepared in the old cases with information as to the present position of investigation and proceeding before the court below. However, when the matter is called out no one appears to press this application. Learned counsel for the State is present. In the nature of relief prayed in the writ application, since no one is appearing on behalf of the petitioner despite there being notice, this Court is in impression that the petitioner now is not interested in the matter.
The writ application is, therefore, disposed of as having become infructuous.
