The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Jamui P.S. Case No. 160 of 2021 registered under Section 30(a) (c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case due to village politics. Further he submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner by contending that the alleged country made wine has been recovered from the house of this petitioner. Hence, the petitioner does not deserve to be enlarged on anticipatory bail.
