JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 17-09-2019 A counter affidavit has been filed today on behalf of the respondent-bank. In the counter affidavit, a statement has been made that the requirement of filling up of form has been done on 07.09.2019 and the same has been forwarded to the Head Office of the bank.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the Head Office of the bank shall take a decision on the same within a short span of time.
In the given facts and circumstances of the case, this writ application is being disposed off with a direction to the respondent nos.1 and 2 to look into the grievance of the petitioner, examine the same and take a decision with respect thereto within a period of 60 days from the date of
Patna High Court CWJC No.10443 of 2019(3) dt.17-09-2019 2/2 receipt/production of a copy of this order.
It is made clear that in case the petitioner is entitled for the benefit under the Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Insurance Scheme it will be the responsibility of the aforesaid respondents to ensure that appropriate recommendations be made to the Insurance Company for the same within the aforesaid period and payment will be made to the petitoiner.
