2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

3. The license of the petitioner was suspended under Rule 28 of the Bihar Targeted Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2016 on the ground of the petitioner having become an accused in a criminal case involving breach of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.

4. A notice also appears to have been given to the petitioner to explain his cause.

5. However, no fact has been stated in the writ petition for us to infer that the aforesaid notice was responded by the petitioner.

6. We, presuming that no final order has been passed in the matter, direct the licensing authority to issue a fresh notice to the petitioner within a period of 30 days and after receiving his response, to take a final decision in the matter within a period of 180 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

7. The licensing authority shall advert to the reply of the petitioner and shall pass orders in

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed off.
